We understand the value of our client's time and provide flexible schedules and home visits for all services. We are particularly sensitive to the compassion required when dealing with caring owners and their pets and we offer a personal unhurried service going to great lengths to make your pets feel relaxed throughout.
PetAir UK offers a comprehensive pet travel service aimed at removing the burden of the complex arrangements required to take pets abroad. We tailor make each package to suit your requirements and can provide any or all of the elements below:
Airline Bookings - we strive to find the best route for your pet concentrating on finding the option which minimises the time your pet will spend in the travel container.
Travel Containers - custom made for comfort and safety and conforming to up to date IATA regulations.
Pre Travel Home Visit - to meet face to face and to discuss your needs. This also helps to reassure your pets.
Export Documents - this involves an application to DEFRA, the paperwork being sent to our nominated Local Veterinary Inspector (LVI) for completion.
Supplementary Veterinary Paperwork - there may be additional requirements such as a 'fitness to fly' document, or an 'acclimatisation form'.
Veterinary Treatments / Tests - some destinations demand certain blood tests to have been completed following a strict time schedule up to the day of departure. In addition certain preventative treatments may be required.
Import Documents - if required these must be acquired from the destination countries authorities and sometimes they demand countersigning of the DEFRA documentation by the relevant consulate in the UK.
Microchip (Identichip) implantation.
Pet Passport - (i) required for re-entry to the UK avoiding quarantine (from approved countries) (ii) also required for EU destinations even if not returning to the UK. PLEASE NOTE TO USE FOR OPTION (i) THE PASSPORT IS ONLY VALID 6 MONTHS AFTER THE RABIES SEROLOGY BLOOD TEST
Transportation to Airport / Kennelling - on the day of travel we can arrange a pick up and airport delivery, combined with kennelling as required.
Pre Flight Health Check - we can be present at the time of your departure even if you will be making the journey yourself. This helps with last minute checks and facilitates the checking in process.
Post Flight Health Check - we can arrange to meet your pet on its arrival back into the UK and we can arrange delivery to your home.
