Cats and dogs are carried in the hold. For the transport in the freight hold, you have to provide a safe and sturdy transport container in which the animal has sufficient room to turn around and to stand up. The container may not exceed a maximum height of 83 cm. Only one animal can be carried per transport container.
To fly with TUI UK, animals must be fitted with a microchip and have a pet passport (if going to the EU and relevant export documents if travelling outside of the EU). This confirms their vaccinations are up-to-date and the import requirements of receiving country is correct.
For TUI UK flights, pets in the cargo must travel in IATA approved kennels. These must have a locking door, be made of suitable plastic/wood and have bedding in, such as a blanket/newspaper/veterinary bedding. More info on pet kennels can be read here.
