Dog move from Glasgow to Vancouver, Canada

We moved our 7-year old dog Monty from Glasgow, UK to Vancouver, Canada. Obviously like any neurotic dog parents we were very worried about his move, and even concocted a wily scheme of road trips/charter jets/multinational agencies to try and get him there without putting him in the hold of a plane.

After realising this was impractical we found PetAir UK. They answered all of our (probably insane) questions with patience and were very clear on the process and options. We went with the gold package to collect him in Glasgow, alongside contracting with an agent (Worldwide Animal Travel) in Vancouver and it was all well worth it.

I even realised I had made a mistake with his paperwork the day before his flight – on a Sunday – and phoned PetAir’s emergency line. They were kind and efficient and sorted the problem swiftly.

Monty arrived in Vancouver healthy and happy and just like his normal tail-waggy self.
