The Journey

Moving any pet from their home to a new place can be stressful for owners and the animal. All of our flight routings are based around what is best for that particular pets travel.

PetAir UK will use the best airlines and the quickest routes when travelling with a dog, avoiding the cheaper routes where there may be a stop on the way. Where possible, the journey is made shorter to reduce stress for the pet during their travels.

Where in the plane does my pet travel?

Your pet will usually travel in the hold of the aircraft, in a special area which is heated and pressurized. There are some exceptions where pets are allowed in the cabin, however each airline varies.

There are more details about your pets travelling in the hold on our FAQ's page.
