Manchester Airport pet travel and flights must be organised in advance with the airline. The usual regulations apply, pets must have a valid passport and up-to-date vaccinations. For some countries, pets may need UK government export documents as well as import permits.

Manchester Airport operate under the Pet Travel Scheme (PETS), run by DEFRA. This means that pets can be transported without having to go into quarantine. However, some countries may have their own rules regarding importing pets.
