1. What these Terms cover
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase of services from us. We specialise in the transportation of animals overseas. By engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms should be read in conjunction with the terms contained within your Quotation(s) and booking confirmation(s) which were sent to you as part of the booking process.
A Quotation issued by us does not, of itself, create a binding Contract. You may accept a Quotation by confirming your booking with us and paying the deposit sums required (or additional amounts as may be communicated to you). A binding Contract between you and us comes into existence only when we issue a written Booking Confirmation to you. Until a Booking Confirmation has been issued, we are under no obligation to provide any services to you.
2. Definitions
In these Terms, the following definitions apply:
“Booking Confirmation” means the written confirmation issued by us to you confirming acceptance of your booking and the key details of the services to be provided.
“Contract” means the binding agreement between you and us for the provision of services, formed in accordance with the process described in these Terms. The Contract comprises these Terms together with the applicable Quotation and Booking Confirmation. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Quotation or Booking Confirmation, these Terms shall prevail unless the Quotation or Booking Confirmation expressly states otherwise.
“Quotation” means the written quotation issued by us to you setting out the proposed services, the applicable price and any other relevant terms.

4.1 Accurate information
You are responsible for providing us with complete and accurate information concerning your pet, including its measurements, weight, breed, medical history and conditions, behavioral history and conditions, and any other information reasonably requested by us in order to deliver services to you. You are also responsible for notifying us of any unique and/or unusual conditions, traits etc. of your pet which may reasonably affect its ability to travel (whether or not expressly requested by us).
We and our agents shall not be responsible for additional costs, delays or other consequences arising from inaccurate and/or incomplete information supplied by you or your representative(s).
4.2 Keeping details current
We rely on you to keep your information correct. We cannot be responsible for issues caused by incorrect or out‑of‑date information. You are required to notify us immediately at enquiries@petairuk.com of any changes to the information which you have previously provided. A failure to provide us with updated information may lead to a cancellation or suspension of services.
4.3 Disclosure of information relating to the safe handling of your pet
You are responsible for providing us with complete and accurate information concerning your pet, including any medical conditions/history, and behavioral conditions/history, which may affect the safety, welfare or handling of the pet before shipment.
Pets displaying behavioral problems which, in our sole discretion, present a risk to themselves, staff, other animals or third parties may be refused admission to our kennels or cattery.
Where an undisclosed behavioural problem becomes apparent after arrival, we may require the pet to be returned to the collection address at your cost.
If immediate return is not possible due to driver availability or other operational circumstances, you will be responsible for arranging collection from our kennels/cattery before the kennels or cattery close at 17:00 (UK time), unless otherwise agreed.
4.4 Documentation
You are responsible for ensuring that you provide us and/or our partners with all documentation requested, in accordance with the timescales set, in order to enable us to deliver the services to you.
We and our agents shall not be responsible for additional costs, delays or other consequences arising from your failure to do so.
In circumstances where your provision of incorrect or incomplete documentation results in additional work, delays, re-testing, re-issuing of documentation or other costs, any associated costs will be borne by you.
4.5 Vaccination requirements
For dogs
For any dogs which you are intending to transport through us, the following vaccinations must have been administered within the twelve (12) months preceding entry into our UK kennels (unless we have notified you otherwise):
- Distemper;
- Hepatitis;
- Leptospirosis;
- Parvovirus; and
- Kennel cough, Parainfluenza & Bordatella
For cats
For any cats which you are intending to transport through us, the following vaccinations must have been administered within the twelve (12) months preceding entry into our UK kennels (unless we have notified you otherwise):
- Feline enteritis; and
- Cat flu.
Where a Kennel Cough / Parainfluenza & Bordetella vaccination is required, you will need to ensure that a live vaccine is administered at least fourteen (14) days before entry into our kennels.
You remain responsible for ensuring that all vaccinations and veterinary requirements are valid and comply with the requirements applicable to the journey.
You may be refused access to our services and/or refused travel if you fail to comply with these requirements.
5. Our packages
5.1 We offer a wide range of packages and add-on services for you to choose from when purchasing services through us. Please refer to our website and your Quotation for further details.
5.2 In the case of pets travelling from the UK, you will be required to select your package at the time of making your booking. We may, at our sole discretion, permit package upgrades following your initial booking, conditional upon you paying the price difference. We are unable to downgrade packages following initial package selection.
6. Veterinary treatment whilst in our care
6.1 You understand that in certain circumstances (e.g. if your pet becomes unwell or requires a vaccination), veterinary treatment, medication or other veterinary intervention may be required for your pet whilst in our care in order to comply with veterinary, transport or destination-country requirements. This will only be done when necessary and we shall use reasonable endeavours to notify you in advance of such treatments etc. taking place (where reasonably practicable).
Whilst we will make reasonable efforts to contact you in the first instance, if this is not possible and a pet requires veterinary attention, the decision as to whether such treatment etc. is required will be made at the sole discretion of our veterinary surgeon (whether directly employed by us or otherwise appointed by us) who will have regard for your pet’s condition and welfare. You consent to our veterinary surgeon making and actioning such decisions.
6.2 You consent to our veterinary surgeons administering emergency treatment if required and providing services in order to comply with applicable legal, regulatory or destination-country requirements.
6.3 Where non-emergency veterinary treatment, medication or other veterinary intervention is proposed for your pet whilst in our care, we will notify you in advance and seek your consent before proceeding, where reasonably practicable. In a genuine emergency, or where you cannot be reached after reasonable attempts to contact you, our veterinary surgeon may act in the best welfare interests of your pet without obtaining your prior consent. If you object to a proposed non-emergency treatment which is required in order for your pet to travel or to comply with applicable legal, regulatory or destination-country requirements, you acknowledge that travel may not be possible and the cancellation and cost provisions set out in these Terms shall apply.
6.4 You acknowledge that such procedures and interventions carry inherent risks and that veterinary advice will be provided where reasonably practicable.
6.5 You accept responsibility for reasonable costs associated with and arising from any of the aforementioned treatments and interventions which have been provided to your pet, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Insurance
7.1 Your pet is insured while being transported within the UK and while staying in our UK kennels or cattery. This cover is provided under our insurance policy and is subject to that policy’s terms and limitations.
7.2 If you need insurance cover for your pet from the departure airport through to the destination airport, you must arrange this yourself with a suitable insurer. Our cover does not extend to this part of the journey.
The applicable PetAir UK transit cover is limited as follows:
- Dogs: loss cover from collection up to delivery to the airline, limited to a maximum coverage value of £500.
- Cats: loss cover from collection up to delivery to the airline, limited to a maximum value of £200.
These amounts are liability limits only. They do not represent a valuation of your pet and do not constitute comprehensive insurance for the entire journey. You should arrange your own insurance if you require broader or higher cover.
8. Price and payment
Quoted prices
8.1 The price for our services will be provided to you via email. This does not include third-party costs imposed by your destination of travel – which are dealt with separately under these Terms.
8.2 You will have the option of paying the entire cost for our services outright at the time of making your booking or to pay in monthly instalments.
8.3 We reserve the right to terminate and/or withhold the provision of our services in circumstances where you fail to pay:
- 8.3.1 for our services in full; and/or
- 8.3.2 (where you have opted to pay in monthly instalments) on the date agreed between us when setting up your monthly payment plan
in accordance with these Terms (including any price variations, where applicable).
8.4 We also reserve the right to refer any outstanding balances to a third-party debt collection agency for collection purposes and/or pursue other lawful methods of recovery. Please note that this may be subject to fees and additional costs (including interest) which you will be required to bear the responsibility of.
8.5 Unless otherwise stated in writing, the quoted price is valid for four (4) months from the date of issue of the quotation.
8.6 The quoted price is based on the information available at the time the quotation is issued. You acknowledge that the quoted price may increase in line with price increases imposed by an airline, government authority, regulatory body, supplier, overseas agent or other third party outside of our reasonable control.
Where such an increase occurs, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable. Any additional amount payable as a result of such an increase must be paid before the relevant service is provided. You retain the right to cancel your booking in the event of a price increase, in line with our cancellation policy contained within these Terms.
8.7 Unless otherwise stated in your Contract (for example, where you have selected out of hours services), the quoted price includes check-in and/or collection during our standard operating hours. Standard operating hours are:
- 8.7.1 Monday to Friday: 08:00 to 17:00 (UK time); and
- 8.7.2 Saturday: 09:00 to 16:00 (UK time)
Please note that where you have selected a package which involves us collecting your pet from your home, those collections will also be made within standard operating hours with prior arrangement.
8.8 Check-ins or collections outside of these hours, or on UK bank holidays, will be subject to an additional £185.00 out-of-hours charge, unless a different charge is expressly stated in your contract.
8.9 Unless otherwise stated, the quoted price does not include veterinary testing (e.g., for rabies serology) treatment, laboratory fees or other veterinary work required as a result of positive, inconclusive, unexpected or otherwise abnormal blood or test results. Where veterinary work is required, we will endeavour to keep additional costs to a minimum however you will remain responsible for reasonable additional costs, including veterinary consultations, laboratory fees, additional visits and treatments.
PetAir Travel Crates
8.10 The price quoted to you is directly related to the size and specification of the custom-made PetAir crate or plastic PetAir crate required for your pet to travel in.
8.11 We reserve the right to revise the quoted price if your pet’s measurements, weight, physical condition or other characteristics change before travel and a different container is consequently required.
8.12 Where a change in crate requirements affects the suitability or availability of the booked flight, we may be required to reschedule or cancel the booking.
8.13 Any additional charges arising from a change in crate requirements must be paid in full before your pet travels.
8.14 Where we have supplied and delivered a travel crate to your home address, any costs associated with the supply, manufacture or delivery of the crate shall remain payable by you in the event that the booking is subsequently cancelled.
8.15 Where the amount which you have already paid does not fully cover the costs incurred by us in relation to the crate, the outstanding balance shall become immediately due and payable upon cancellation.
Non-refundable deposit
8.16 With the exception of import services into the UK, fast track services and unless stated otherwise, a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total contract value is payable in order to secure your booking. You will receive an email from us, which will be sent along with your quote, with a secure link inviting you to make this payment. The deposit is intended to cover work undertaken and costs incurred in establishing and preparing the booking.
Transfer of deposit
8.17 Where you cancel your booking, we may at our sole discretion, agree to apply your non-refundable deposit towards a subsequent booking made within four (4) months of the original scheduled flight date, less any costs or fees already incurred in relation to the original booking. Any such requests for deposit transfers must be made in writing to us using the contact details set out above. Any such transfer is subject to a new booking being accepted by us and does not constitute an automatic right to transfer the deposit.
Third-party costs, permits and mandatory charges
8.18 You shall be required to bear responsibility for third-party costs (including permits, quarantine fees, government charges, and veterinary charges) which are imposed by your destination country (e.g., Australia and New Zealand).
8.19 Where your booking involves any such third-party costs, an additional payment of 15% of the total booking price is required within 30 days of paying your initial 10% deposit, unless otherwise agreed in writing. This payment covers third-party costs, is non-refundable, and forms part of your total booking price. If you choose monthly payments, your payment schedule will be adjusted to incorporate this requirement. Where a permit or third-party authorisation is required in order for your pet to travel, we shall submit a request for these on your behalf only once we have received the aforementioned payment. We shall not be responsible for delays and/or losses arising from your failure to make payment within the specified timeframe.
Flight changes and short-term postponements
8.20 For amendments to flights/flight dates:
- 8.20.1 Any amendments requested by you to a flight/flight date which has already been booked by us, will be subject to a non-refundable administration charge of £150 per change.
- 8.20.2 Where three (3) or more flight changes are requested, the administration charge will increase to £200.00 for each subsequent rebooking.
This provision applies to short-term postponements of up to one (1) month and does not apply to a full cancellation and rebooking. Cancellations are dealt with under our cancellation policy within these terms and conditions.
8.21 In the case of a booking made under our Premium Plus package, you shall be entitled to one complementary amendment to your flight booking provided it is made earlier than 48 hours prior to your scheduled flight. Any requested amendments made thereafter shall be chargeable in accordance with clause 8.20.
Additional charges
8.22 Where additional charges apply to your booking (e.g., clearance costs and additional veterinary treatments), you must pay these within the timeframe specified and, in any event, before your pet is exported or released.
K9 Jet and short-notice bookings
8.23 For K9 Jet bookings and any booking made for travel within fourteen (14) days of the scheduled flight date, the full contract value must be paid in cleared funds at the time of booking.
The booking shall not be treated as confirmed, and we shall not be required to commence associated arrangements, until cleared payment has been received in full.
9. Bringing your pet into the UK
In addition to the provisions above, all of our import clearance services are subject to the following clauses:
9.1 Price validity
The price quoted to you for import clearance is valid for four (4) months from the date of first being issued, subject to any increases imposed by airlines, government authorities, agencies, suppliers or other third parties outside of our reasonable control.
Any applicable increases will be notified to you as soon as reasonably practicable. Where the price for import clearance increases by more than 10% above the original quoted price as a result of increases imposed by airlines, government authorities, agencies, suppliers or other third parties, you shall be entitled to cancel the booking by giving written notice to us within fourteen (14) days of receiving notification of the increase. In such circumstances, we shall refund all sums paid by you, less any costs genuinely and reasonably incurred by us up to the date of cancellation.
9.2 Basis of quoted price
Unless expressly stated otherwise in the contract, the quoted price is based on the pet landing during standard import clearance hours. Standard import clearance hours are:
Monday to Friday – 06:00 to 13:00 (excluding UK bank holidays).
Out-of-Hours, Weekend and Bank Holiday Clearance
Where clearance is required outside of standard import clearance hours, the following additional charges shall apply, subject to prior arrangement and operational availability:
- Weekday out-of-hours clearance: £255.00
- Saturday or Sunday clearance: £295.00
- UK bank holiday clearance: £395.00
These charges are payable in addition to the quoted contract price.
9.3 Flight Delays Affecting Import Clearance
If a flight is delayed and the pet arrives outside standard import clearance hours, customs or import clearance may not be possible until the following working day.
You acknowledge that such circumstances may result in additional charges, including, but not limited to:
- additional boarding or accommodation fees;
- additional import clearance charges;
- customs or handling charges;
- additional veterinary charges;
- storage charges; and
- charges arising from regulatory or compliance requirements.
Where such costs arise as a result of a flight delay or other circumstances outside of our reasonable control, you shall be responsible for the applicable additional costs.
9.4 Amendments to Import Clearance Bookings
Once import clearance has been booked, any amendment to the booked clearance date or flight will be subject to an administration charge of £90.00 per amendment.
This provision applies to short-term postponements of up to one (1) month and does not apply to a full cancellation and rebooking, which will be dealt with under the applicable cancellation provisions.
9.5 Additional Veterinary Work and Documentation for Imports
The quoted import clearance price does not include additional veterinary work, veterinary treatment, additional paperwork, document re-issuing or other services required because of:
- incorrect or incomplete documentation;
- missing documentation;
- failure to comply with applicable UK import requirements;
- failure to meet current regulatory requirements; or
- circumstances arising after the quotation was issued.
You will be required to pay any additional costs.
9.6 Import VAT and Tax Charges
The importing of your pet may be subject to VAT, import VAT, customs duties or other taxes or charges in addition to the contract price.
Where this is the case, the amount payable by you will depend upon the relevant customs declaration, applicable regulations and any approved Transfer of Residence (ToR) application.
Any import VAT, customs duty or other applicable charge (which is required to be paid before your pet can be released) must be paid in full before your pet can be released.
We do not guarantee that a ToR application will be approved or that import VAT will not be payable.
9.7 Expedited Import Clearance
Where you request expedited import clearance within fewer than five (5) days of the planned arrival date, we will use reasonable endeavours to accommodate that request, subject to operational, regulatory and third-party availability.
Where expedited clearance is possible, an additional charge of £110.00 will apply.
Additional third-party, government, veterinary, customs or other charges may also apply where incurred and will be payable by you.
We cannot guarantee expedited clearance where the timing is dependent upon third parties, regulatory authorities, customs, veterinary authorities, airlines or other circumstances outside of our reasonable control.
10. Pet health, Mortality and Morbidity
10.1 All pets are accepted for transportation at the owner’s risk. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our obligation to perform the services with reasonable care and skill, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10.2 You acknowledge that your pet must be sufficiently fit and healthy to withstand changes in temperature and environmental conditions which may occur during the journey, including at the departure airport, destination airport and during transit.
10.3 Whilst we and the relevant airline will take reasonable steps to minimise exposure to extreme temperatures, this cannot always be avoided. This may include periods during loading, unloading, handling, transportation between facilities and other operational procedures.
10.4 Where reasonably practicable, flight times may be selected to reduce exposure to periods of extreme temperature. However, we cannot guarantee that a pet will not experience temperature variations during its journey.
10.5 We shall not be liable for mortality, morbidity, illness, injury or deterioration in a pet’s condition arising from natural causes, pre-existing conditions, age-related factors or other circumstances outside of our reasonable control, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
10.6 You acknowledge that the risks associated with transportation may be greater for older pets, pets with existing medical conditions and brachycephalic (short-nosed or “snub-nosed”) breeds.
10.7 It is your responsibility as owner to obtain appropriate veterinary advice before travel where there is any concern regarding the pet’s fitness or suitability for transportation.
11. Misuse of our service
11.1 We may terminate your contract with us immediately if we reasonably suspect that you are using our services/intend to use our services for illegal or illicit activities, or if you otherwise breach these Terms.
11.2 We may suspend our services and your contract with us if you are in breach of these Terms. If such a breach is not fixed within 7 days after we notify you in writing, we may terminate your contract.
12. Changes
12.1 Changes to or withdrawal of products/services
We may be required to amend arrangements where airline requirements, veterinary requirements, government regulations, import/export requirements or other mandatory requirements change after the booking has been made.
Where such changes result in additional costs, you will be responsible for those costs where they are properly incurred in order to comply with the applicable requirements.
12.2 Changes to these Terms
We may make minor changes (for example, to reflect changes in law, security, technology, or to clarify wording). For major changes that significantly affect you, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email (or another reasonable method) before they take effect.
13. Cancellations
You may cancel your booking at any time however your attention is explicitly drawn to clauses 8.8 and 8.14 – 8.19 of these Terms.
If you cancel your booking, we reserve the right to retain sums in excess of the non-refundable deposit where such additional sums are attributable to work completed, services provided, non-refundable third-party costs and other costs or commitments incurred in connection with the booking.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
14. How we use your personal information
We collect and use personal data when you register and when you update your details. We will use your information as set out in these Terms and in our Privacy Policy (available on our website), which explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
In plain English: See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
15. Third‑party services disclaimer
The service delivered to you is done so by us in tandem with various parties (for example, airlines and travel authorities). These third-parties are not owned or controlled by us, and we don’t endorse or guarantee them.
16. Service availability
Whilst every effort is made by us to deliver services to you pursuant to your contract with us, you understand and agree that our ability to deliver our services is dependent on a number of factors which are outside of our control, for which we cannot accept liability or responsibility. These include:
- Flight availability, including aircraft type, aircraft size and applicable height restrictions.
- Departure times and departure airport, subject to airline availability.
- Seasonal temperature restrictions, including minimum and maximum temperature restrictions imposed by airlines or other relevant authorities.
- The import requirements of the destination country, including any changes to those requirements after the booking has been made.
As such, although we will endeavour to accommodate specific requests, we cannot guarantee the availability of a particular aircraft, flight, route, departure time, airport and/or travel date.
17. Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you
17.1 We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury to human beings caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
17.2 Foreseeable loss caused by us
If we materially fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
17.3 Loss caused by third parties
You acknowledge that there are various third parties, over whom we have no control, involved in the transportation of your pet. We shall not accept liability for any losses arising from the acts or omissions of those third parties, including but not limited to:
- airlines (e.g. airline delays, cancellations, schedule changes, aircraft availability and/or operational restrictions);
- government or regulatory decisions (e.g. changes to import or export requirements);
- overseas agents;
- customs authorities;
- quarantine authorities; and
- veterinary authorities.
Where an overseas agent is required, we may recommend an agent or you may nominate your own agent. Where you elect to use an agent which has been recommended by us, you are bound by that agent’s terms and conditions of service. It is therefore important that you view that agent’s terms and conditions of service before entering into a contract with them. We cannot accept any liability for any breaches of those terms and conditions and/or for any failures in service delivery by that agent.
17.4 Loss caused by a failure to comply with your responsibilities
We cannot accept responsibility for any losses which are occasioned as a result of a failure by you to comply with your obligations under these Terms and/or other obligations notified to you via email.
17.5 Limitation of liability (cap)
Subject to clause 17.1, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with our services (whether in contract, tort—including negligence—or otherwise) is limited to the total amount you have paid to us under this agreement.
17.6 Excluded types of loss
Subject to clause 17.1, we are not liable for: loss of profit, business, revenue or anticipated savings; loss of data; loss or damage to goodwill; or any indirect, special or consequential loss.
Whilst we will take reasonable care of veterinary documentation, passports, DEFRA Export Health Certificates, bedding and personal belongings, we shall not be responsible for loss of or damage to such items except where such loss or damage is caused by our negligence.
18. Intellectual property rights
All intellectual property rights in our platform, content and materials are owned by us or our licensors.
19. Other important terms
19.1 Abandoned animals
Where an animal remains at our kennels or cattery for more than one (1) month and there has been no meaningful contact or payment from you or your authorised agent, we reserve the right, subject to applicable law and appropriate animal-welfare procedures, to treat the circumstances as potential abandonment. We will take such lawful and appropriate steps as are reasonably necessary to protect the animal’s welfare. Any steps taken to rehome or to otherwise care for an animal treated as abandoned will follow statutory notice procedures and you shall remain responsible for all reasonable costs incurred in us and/or our agents doing so.
19.2 Abusive, aggressive or threatening behaviour
We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive, aggressive, threatening, or intimidating behaviour directed towards our employees, contractors, agents, or business partners. This includes, but is not limited to:
- offensive or abusive language;
- verbal abuse;
- written abuse;
- threatening or intimidating communications;
- threatening or intimidating conduct;
- physical aggression or attempted physical aggression; and
- behaviour which causes, or is reasonably likely to cause, a person to feel afraid, alarmed, threatened, abused or distressed.
Where such behaviour occurs, we reserve the right to suspend communications, restrict communications to written correspondence, require communications to be conducted through an authorised representative and/or terminate the contract where we consider it reasonably necessary to do so.
Where we terminate your contract with us pursuant to this clause, you will still be responsible for paying our costs for work incurred prior to termination.
19.3 Use of images
Where you expressly consent, we may use photographs of your pet(s) and selected non-sensitive content from correspondence for legitimate marketing purposes, including on our website, news and testimonial sections and social media channels. Such consent is entirely optional and is not a condition of receiving our services. If you wish to withdraw your consent at any time, please notify us via email using the contact details above.
19.4 Transfer of rights
Transfer by us: We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. We will tell you if this happens.
Transfer by you: You may not transfer your rights and obligations under this agreement.
19.3 Rights of third parties
No one else has rights under these Terms.
19.4 Severance
If a court finds any part of these Terms unlawful, the rest remains in force.
19.5 Delays in enforcement
If we delay enforcing these Terms, we can still enforce them later.
19.6 Law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You and we may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you (or we) may alternatively bring proceedings in your local courts.
19.3 Force Majeure
We are not liable for failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example, natural disasters, epidemics, war, terrorism, power or telecoms failure).
20. Special terms applicable to short-notice flights (fast track services)
20.1 This clause should be read in conjunction with clause 8.23 relating to payment terms for short-notice and K9 Jet flights.
20.2 A £400 fast-track fee will apply if you require your pet to travel within 14 days of completion of all required documentation, or within a period shorter than the standard lead time required for the destination country (as notified to you by a member of our team). Please note that the applicable lead time may be longer than 14 days for certain countries depending on their specific import, veterinary, documentation and/or airline requirements. The fast-track fee may therefore apply where the requested travel date falls within a period shorter than the required lead time for the destination, even where the travel date is more than 14 days from completion of the documentation.
20.3 Clause 20.2 shall apply in circumstances where you have amended your booking from one with a standard lead time to one requiring a fast-track service. Where this occurs, we shall send you a secure payment link for the fast-track fee and shall cease commencing any work until payment has been made.
20.4 If the fast-track requirement has not been selected by you at the time of making your booking but is subsequently requested, we shall contact you by email and provide a secure payment link for payment of the applicable £400 fast-track fee and any outstanding balance required under the contract. No further work will commence until the required payment has been received.
20.5
- By proceeding with a fast-track booking, you acknowledge and accept that:
- the applicable fast-track fee may be charged where the requested travel date falls within the relevant fast-track period pursuant to clause 20.2; and
- the relevant fast-track period is calculated from the completion of the required documentation, rather than from the date on which the initial deposit is paid.
