Key Requirements:
To enter the UK from India, your pet must:
1. Be Microchipped
- Must be ISO standard and compliant.

2. Be Vaccinated Against Rabies
- Administered after microchipping.
- Pet must be at least 12 weeks old at the time of vaccination and given 30 days prior to the Titre test blood draw and subject to the manufacture guildelines.
3. Pass a Rabies Blood Test (Titration Test)
- Must be done at least 30 days after vaccination.
- Must be analysed by an approved lab.
- You must then wait 3 months from the blood sample date before travel.
4. Have a Valid Health Certificate
- Completed by an authorised vet within 10 days of travel and endorsed by the Indian authorities.
- Confirms the pet is fit to fly and meets all entry rules.
5. Enter Through a UK Approved Border Control Post
- London Heathrow is the main entry point for pets from India.
6. Complete Customs Clearance and Quarantine Checks
- Upon arrival, your pet will be inspected at the Animal Reception Centre (ARC).
- If any documents are missing or incorrect, quarantine may be enforced.
