Ingredients: 170g of undrained tuna, 120g of corn flour, 140g of plain flour & 75ml of water
Instructions: Pre-heat your oven to 180°. Measure all of the ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix together with your hands. Get a rolling pin and roll out the mixture until it’s about half a centimeter thick. Cut little fish shaped pieces out of it and place them on a greased baking tray. Bake for around 20 minutes or until golden brown (keep an eye out!), then let them cool and give a few to your cat.
Peanut Butter & Banana Dog Treats
Ingredients: 1 peeled banana, 120g of oat flour, 170g of rolled oats, 120g dried parsley, 3 tablespoons of peanut butter & 1 beaten egg
Instructions: Pre-heat your oven to 180°. Mash the peeled banana in a mixing bowl and add the oat flour, rolled oats, parsley, peanut butter and egg. Stir until mixed well together and then roll the mixture out into balls. Place them on a greased baking tray and use your hand to press each ball into a coin shape. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until they’re golden brown. Again, let them cool down fully and then give some to your pup to gobble up!
For your dog, give them a warm bath, shampoo them with special pet shampoo and gently rinse them. When all the shampoo is out, prepare for a huge shake from them, and then finish off with a towel-drying session. If you have a cat, you’ll be aware that the majority of them HATE water, so a bath is definitely out of the question! However, you can give them a good brush, smooth out their fur, and get rid of any knots or matted fur.
Our days are often busy and we may, unknowingly, take our pets for granted sometimes. Plan to spend some quality time with them on Valentine’s Day. Take your dog for a walk in one of their favourite spots, go for a run down the beach with them, or find a new, exciting place to explore. Relax and watch a film cuddled up to your pet. Give your cat a lap to sit on and fuss over them for a while. Grab a toy and play with your furry friend.
Your pet (although your cat may be grumpy sometimes) loves you unconditionally and really does appreciate a bit of attention and quality time spent with them, so show them some love this Valentine’s Day!
