Publico

Publico is located in Midtown and is more than welcoming to four-legged guests. This restaurant is so dog-friendly they even have a VIP (very important puppy!) menu! The sales from the dog menu even go towards helping local animal charity. For humans, Publico offers a wide selection of food, from tacos to ramen and has a great outdoor patio for you to enjoy.

Piedmont Park

Piedmont Park is an urban park with fantastic views of the city. With over 180 acres of open space, there’s plenty of walking trails for you and your dog to explore. If your dog requires a little more freedom, there’s even an off-leash dedicated dog park. The dog park has separate areas for big dogs and small dogs, plenty of shade, drinking water, toilet facilities for humans and you can even get doggy ice lollies from King of Pops at the weekends.

Atlanta Beltline

Constructed on a former railway line, the Atlanta Beltline is a wide walkway with no need to cross any roads. Along the paths you’ll find many dog-friendly restaurants, shops and pet stores. Spanning 33 miles in total, it’ll take you to all the best spots in Atlanta. Just be sure to keep your pet close and on a shorter lead to avoid interrupting other users.

Walking tour with Atlanta Preservation Center

If history is your thing, take a walking tour with the Atlanta Preservation Center. Dogs are welcome on many of the tours around the city and pups are free of charge. Visit some of the city’s historic sites with their knowledgable volunteers and learn something new while walking your dog.
