Why Choose Petair
Why Choose In-Cabin Pet Travel?
For many families, pets are not just animals – they are family members. The thought of them travelling in the aircraft hold can cause understandable anxiety. While in-hold pet travel is deemed safe for most pets, some breeds and variables do restrict this options, meaning in-cabin travel may be the only option for your pet.
Or maybe you just like the idea of them being by your side, from beginning to end.
In-cabin private jet travel offers:
1. Your pet stays with you
Your dog or cat remains in the cabin throughout the flight. You can see them, check on them, and provide reassurance.
2. A Calm and Controlled Environment
3. Available for all Cat and Dog Breeds
4. Reduced Handling and Transfers
Unlike cargo travel, there are no large freight terminals or complex airline transfers. The boarding process is streamlined and pet-focused. With a dedicated private check-in area, you skip the queues and fast-track customs and security – a seamless boarding experience.
5. No Cargo Hold Concerns
There are no worries about hold temperature variations, separation, or unfamiliar handling environments. Pets don’t need to be in travel crates either, reducing the need for crate training prior to the flight.
6. A Premium Experience for You Too
Owners travel in comfort while knowing their pet is right beside them. A complimentary bar is also available, with refreshments and a meal.
7. Vet-Led Travel Prep
8. Plus the Usual Support
With all the added perks of choosing our Superior package, we still include all the usual support, making your pet’s journey safe and stress-free.

Who is it suitable for?
Is In-Cabin Pet Travel Right for You?
This may be right for you if...
- You feel uncomfortable with cargo hold travel.
- Travellers who want to accompany their pet the entire journey.
- Your pet is elderly, anxious, or medically sensitive (subject to veterinary approval).
- Your pet is too large for the crates used in cargo travel.
- Your pet is a brachycephalic breed – meaning cargo travel is often deemed unsafe for them, and sometimes not allowed at all. In-cargo travel is one of the best options available for brachycephalic breeds. Flat-faced dogs and cats, such as Pugs, Boxers, and Persian cats, can be more sensitive to air pressure, heat and stress.
- If you have an emotional support animal and wish to fly with them by your side.
- You want the most stress-free travel option available.
- Pets with specific care needs that benefit from close supervision.
- You are travelling on one of the available routes.
It may not be suitable if...
- You are travelling to a country outside the current route network (see above).
- You are looking for the lowest-cost relocation option.
Our team can advise honestly on whether the Superior Package is the best fit for your pet.
